USAID Partners FCTA on Effective Health Care Delivery

The United States Agency for International Development, USAID, has pledged continuous support to the FCT Administration on efficient health care delivery.
The Deputy Country Director, Mr Kehinde Otto gave this assurance while presenting a vehicle ( peugeot 307 station wagon) to the Secretary, Health And Human Services Secretariat, Malam Adamu Bappah in Abuja.
Mr Otto explained that the gesture was part of USAID logistics support to fast track the movement of health commodities to health care centers across the territory.
” the gesture is to enhance monitoring and supervisory visits to health facilities to promote availability of health commodities to health care facilities in the Fct”.
Receiving the vehicle, the Secretary, Health and Human Services Secretariat, Malam Adamu Bappah commended USAID for its continuous support and expressed the hope that the vehicle would help to address some logistics issues .

Malam Bappah handed over the vehicle to the Coordinator, Fct Health Logistic Management Unit, Mrs Halima Gero and tasked her to ensure judicious use of the vehicle to strengthen the Unit’s performance.
Responding, the Coordinator,Logistic Management Coordinating Unit, Mrs Halima Hero pledged the Unit’s readiness to optimally utilize the vehicle for the purpose for which it was meant.
