Students Are Not Expected To Pay Third Term Fees – FCTA

The Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA, says students are not expected to pay third term school fees upon resumption of schools.

The Director FCT department of Mass Education and the Chairman re-opening of schools in the FCT, Dr Fatima Abdulrahman stated this in Abuja during an interview with Radio Nigeria.

Dr Abdulrahman said that all the public schools in the territory had complied with the Covid-19 protocols and are ready for resumption.

On how the students should be assisted to catch up with the time they lost as a result of the pandemic, the Director FCT department of Mass Education and Chairman school reopening, said revision will be done for one week after which they will take their exams.

She also said that first and second term results will be used to promote the students to the next class.

On efforts to ensure improvement of the literacy level in FCT, Dr Fatima Abdulrahm said, the second Chance education program in FCT was available to anybody who wants to utilize the opportunity to better their life educationally.
