Society For Family Health Calls For Regular HIV/AIDS Testing

Nigerians have been urged to go for HIV testing regularly to know their    status at all times.

Mrs Feicia Ega of the society for Family health stated this during a free HIV/AIDS testing and counseling exercise in Abuja.

The exercise which is to cover Abuja metropolis and some satellite towns in the Federal Capital Territory  is to last for five days.

Some F.C.T residents who participated in the exercise expressed joy over the opportunity given them and advised others to take advantage of the programme.

The coordinator of the programme Mrs Felicia Ega said this will help people to take a wise decision concerning their health after knowing their HIV/AIDS status.



Mrs Ega called on relevant agencies to support the fight against HIV/AIDS in the country.
