Skills Acquisition: ITF Completes Training For 300 Youths In Niger state
The Industrial Training Fund ITF has trained three hundred youths in Niger state in four skills under the National Industrial Skills Development 2017 Programme.
At the closing ceremony of the training in Minna,the state capital, Governor Abubakar Bello stressed the need for proper monitoring of the trainees to ensure that start-up packs are effectively utilized.
Governor Bello urged the beneficiaries to utilize the skills acquired to better their lives.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary, MInistry of Youths Development, Alhaji Hussaini Ahmed gave an assurance that the government would continue to partner ITF in its efforts to create more jobs for the youths.

Youths were trained in three trade which are tailoring and fashion design, welding and fabrication as well as plumbing and pipe fixing.
The Director General of the Fund, Sir Joseph Ari in a message to the event said the trainees were carefully selected based on their capabilities in the different value chains.
The programme is aimed at equipping the youths with relevant skills to make them self employed.
