Senate Condemns Boko Haram Attack On Auno Village

The senate has condemned the Boko haram attack on Auno village in Borno state.

This is contained in a motion by senator kashim Shettima, representing, Borno central during plenary in Abuja.

Senator Shetima, explained that the attack which lasted for hours left some of the villagers homeless with wanton destruction of lives and property.

He appealed for urgent rehabilitation of victims of the attack.

The lawmaker who also called for establishment of a militar base at Auno village requested a minute silence be observed for the victims.

In a remark, the president of the senate Ahmad Lawan, appealed for collaboration of all political leaders to tackle challenges of insecurity headlong.
