Police Arrest Suspected Armed Robber In Nasarawa State

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested a suspected armed robber who claimed to be the driver of a Federal law maker in possession of Ak49 riffle and two pairs of black uniforms along the Lafia Makurdi highway in Nasarawa State.

The State Police commissioner Ahmed Bello alleged that the suspect Mr Francis Adi was responsible for a number of armed robbery attacks around Akanga forest along the Lafia Makurdi road.

The suspect Mr Francis Adi who claimed to be a driver of a Federal law maker from Benue State, said the riffle in his possession belongs to a personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps who is the orderly of his boss.

Two other suspects were also paraded for alleged child theft and killing of a motorcycle owner in Nasarawa local government area of the state.
