SINGAPORE: Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore’s first prime minister, remained “critically ill” on Friday, according to the Prime Minister’s Office. Lee, 91, has been in hospital since early February for severe pneumonia and his health has deteriorated in recent days. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, son of Kuan Yew, thanked the public for their “support and good wishes” in a statement.
