NOA Solicits Tolerance, Mutual Understanding In Nasarawa State

The National Orientation Agency, NOA in Nasarawa State has stressed the need for mutual understanding among ethnic groups to foster peace and development in the state.

The State Director of the Agency, Mrs. Priscilla Gondo stated this at a one day stakeholder’s forum on peace Building and National Security at the Palace of Aren Eggon in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area.

Mrs Gondo said the stakeholders forum was aimed at sensitizing the citizenry on the need to live together as one indivisible family for peace and progress of the state and the nation at large.

She described peace as the core value of the two major religions in the country, calling on all and sundry to embrace peace.

In a remark, the Aren Eggon, Doctor Bala Abene Angbazo who was represented by the district head of Alizaga, Alhaji Sule Dogo Andah describe the event as timely and would go a long way in addressing farmers herdsmen crisis in the area.
