The National Orientation Agency, NOA, has initiated a peace process aimed at securing harmonious coexistence among warring communities in Kwara State.
The Kwara State Acting Director of the Agency, Mr Olusegun Adeyemi who stated this during an inter-community dialogue held across the three senatorial districts of the state emphasized Federal Government’s desire for peace to reign in every community.
Mr Adeyemi appealed to the royal fathers of the affected communities to continue to ensure that disagreements and conflicts are not allowed to degenerate into violence.
Correspondent Abdulrasaq Bello reports that there were goodwill messages from the Olofa of Offa, Oba Muftau Gbadamosi Esuwoye, the Elerin of Erin-Ile, Oba Abdulganiyu Ajibola Olusookun, representatives of Olupako of Share Balogun Kofoworola and Etsu Tsaragi Alhaji Muhammed Ndako.
The NOA inter-community peace dialogue was held at Offa, Erin-Ile, Share and Tsaragi communities in Kwara State.
