Nigerian Scientist Wins 2018 World Championship In Trypanosomiasis

A Nigerian Scientist Dr. Musa Danjuma has won the 2018 World Championship research work on Trypanosomiasis.

A statement by International Agency for Standards and Ratings, organizer of the Championship says research article of the Nigerian Scientist is best among 5,575 nominations from 67 countries.

The agency while identifying Dr Musa  as an important Asset for Nigeria and the world describes, the scientist as father of modern Epidemiology in Tryponosomiasis.

Dr. Musa Danjuma,  a Fellow at Directorate of Microbiology, International Agency for Standards and Ratings is a  Principal Medical Research Officer  with the Nigerian Institute for trypanosomiasis Research 

14 December is celebrated as Trypanosomiasis Day around the world by International Agency for Standards and Ratings in recognition of World champion in Trypanosomiasis .The  Day is devoted for activities in Trypanosomiasis, Training and Awareness on Trypanosomiasis, Seminar on Trypanosomiasis, Global Events, Workshop on Trypanosomiasis, Conference on Trypanosomiasis.
