NEPC Restates Commitment To Effective Service Delivery To Exporting Community

The Nigerian Export Promotion Council, NEPC has restated its commitment to effective service delivery to exporting community towards ensuring national economic development.

The Executive Director of NEPC, Mr Olusegun Awolowo stated this in Abuja while receiving SERVICOM Gold Award for Outstanding CEO and for repositioning NEPC for enhanced service delivery to the public.

Mr Awolowo who expressed gratitude to SERVICOM for the award said the gesture would further encourage him for optimal performance.

He stated that NEPC would not relent in its commitment towards the diversification of the nation’s economy through the promotion and export of non oil products.

According to him, diversification of the country’s economy remain the only way of ensuring national economic development.

The Executive Director who explained that Nigeria is blessed with abundant human and natural resources called for the support of all stakeholders towards realizing the economic agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration.

Earlier, the National Coordinator of SERVICOM, Mrs Nnenna Akajemelu said the award was in recognition of the exemplary leadership role of the Executive Director of NEPC, Mr Olusegun Awolowo towards repositioning the Council.

She therefore advised the Executive Director of NEPC not to relent in upholding effective service delivery in the Council towards realizing the mandate of NEPC.

Other recipients of the award are the Director, Policy and Strategy, Doctor Ezra Yakusak Silver category and the Director, Corporate Services and NEPC SERVICOM Nodal Officer, Mr Babatunde Faleke.
