NDLEA Arrests Four Suspected Drug Peddlers.

The National Drug Law Enforement Agency, (NDLEA) has arrested four suspected drug peddlers at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

A Statement by the Head of NDLEA Public Affairs, Mitchel Ofiyeju, says the agency is intensifying effort in halting the activities of drug peddlers using Brazil-Nigeria route through the airport.

According to the statement, the MMIA surveillance team led to the arrest of four suspected drug traffickers who ingested cocaine.

He said that the suspects were placed under observation until the many wraps of cocainE were expelled from them.

NDLEA Commander at Lagos Airport, Mr. Hamza Umar said that the four arrested suspects would be charged to court.
