NCPC Screens Medical Professionals For 2020/2021 Pilgrimage To Israel, Greece And Rome
Over 360 medical workers across the country participated in a screening exercise organised by the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission NCPC to select medical professionals to be engaged in this year’s pilgrimage to Israel, Greece and Rome.
Addressing the participants in Abuja, the Executive Secretary of NCPC, Reverend Yakubu Pam said the examination would enable the commission pick the best 100 medical personnel to handle health issues relating to the pilgrims.
Represented by the Director operations Reverend Amos Yohana, the NCPC executive secretary explained that the examination was talking place simultaneously in the six Geo political zones across the country.
Reverend Yabubu Pam hinted that federal character principle, professionalism and merit would guide in the final selection of the 100 candidates to form this year’s medical team.
He assured that the commission would collaborate with all stakeholders towards ensuring the success of this year holy exercise.
Earlier, the Chairman Federal Medical Team, Dr David Atuwo maintained that the successful medical professionals from the examination would still under go orientation program on what would be expected from them during the pilgrimage in Israel Greece and Rome.
Dr Atuwo commended the management of JAMB for making its Computer Centers across the country available to conduct the examination.
