Menace Of Motor Parks Touts Threaten Anambra RTEAN

The Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, RTEAN, Anambra State chapter, has expressed great concerns over the activities of motor parks touts and miscreants in the state.
In a statement the state RTEAN Chairman, Comrade Celestine Afam-Anere, says arresting the miscreants, who for so long have engaged in illegal collection of monies from motorists, will further boost the revenue profile of the state
The statement further explained that RTEAN is the only body fully in charge of road transport sector of the state and therefore called on the state governor, Willie Obiano, to commence the arrest of touts and miscreants in the state.
Afam-Anere appealed to Governor Obiano stop the illegal collection of monies on a daily basis by a gang in the state.
Its stressed that with these touts and miscreants terrorising innocent people the state revenue cannot improve.
Afam-Anere assured the governor of RTEAN’s loyalty, saying the association was ready to collaborate with him in boosting the revenue profile of the state.
