LockDown: Nurul Yaqeen Foundation Donates Food Items To Over 100 Indigent FCT Residents

A faith based organization Nurul Yaqeen foundation has distributed food items to over 100 (one hundred) vulnerable and indigent residents of the FCT.

During the distribution at Wuse district in Abuja, the director of the organization Mallam Yahaya Garba AL yolawi said the gesture was to alleviate their plight occasioned by the lock down and the Ramadan season.

Nurul Yaqeen foundation distributes food items to over 100 (one hundred) vulnerable and indigent residents of the FCT.

While addressing the beneficiaries the Director of the organization Mallam Yahaya Garba explained that the gesture would be a continuous exercise to alleviate the sufferings of the less privileged in the society throughout the lock down period.

He also called on well meaning individuals to support the initiative which would go a long way in reducing the high rate of crimes and street begging.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed delight over the items distributed and commended the organisers for the initiative.

Some items distributed includes rice, sugar, beans, millet among others.
