Kwara State Govt Swears In 6 New Permanent Secretaries

In Kwara State, six new permanent secretaries have been sworn in with a charge on them to align with policies and objectives of the government.

The State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed made the remarks during the swearing in ceremony held at the Government House, Ilorin.

Governor Ahmed explained that vital on his administration policy objectives is completion of all ongoing projects and up scaling of human capital development, in health, education, and entrepreneurship.

The Governor explained that appointment of the Permanent Secretaries were based on individual track records of performance and their potential.

He charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by adding value to governance and continuously uphold diligence which recommended them for the position. 

The state Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole said recent retirements of ten permanent secretaries paved way for appointment of the six newly sworn in officers. 

Responding on behalf of the newly swore in Permanent Secretaries, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Opeloyeru expressed gratitude to the Governor for the appointment.

Alhaji Opeloyeru assured of their readiness to bring their experiences to bear in achieving lofty aspirations of the state government.
