Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki has expressed profound gratitude to Nigerians and the people of Kwara for their loyalty and support during his trial at the code of conduct Bureau.
Dr Saraki, stated this at the Ilorin international Airport, when loyalists and supporters trooped out en mass to receive him for the first time after he was vindicated from the eighteen count charges leveled against him.
The Senate President explained that the journey in the last three years was not an easy one.
Some supporters of the Senate President described the judgement of the supreme court as prevalence of justice.
The mammoth crowd were made up of men and women drawn from different political and socio-cultural groups across the state
Some of them in group uniforms, banners with various inscriptions and photographs of Dr Bukola Saraki were conspicuously happy as they shower songs of praise to welcome him in Yoruba language.
The Senate President who proceed was accompanied by the large crowd from the airport through major streets in the city paid homage to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gàmbari.
