IDP’S APPEALS TO FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
Some Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs in Waru-Apo of the Federal Capital Territory have appealed to the government and Non-Governmental Organizations to come to their aid.
They made the call when the Tiv Professional Women initiative paid them a visit to commemorate women’s day in Abuja.

The central bank of Nigerian, CBN has assured that the nation’s banks are safe, following the outcome of a stress test it conducted.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Director of Corporate Communications of CBN, Alhaji Ibrahim Mua’zu in Abuja.
It says the banks have been directed to put in place an effective risk management system to continuously monitor the financial institutions to ensure sufficient internal retention of capital.
The Independent National Electoral Commision, INEC, has extended the period for the collection of permanent voter cards by two weeks.
With the extension, those who registered have until the twenty second of this month to collect their cards at designated centers across the country.
