Ideye To Soon Quit China On Loan
Brown Ideye has revealed he hopes to soon go on a year’s loan from Chinese club Tianjin Teda.
“I hope to go on a year’s loan from China as I still have two more years left on my contract,” the 29-year-old striker told SCORENigeria
“My agent is working on this and I believe before the transfer window closes, we will know where I will be.”
Ideye has previously played in Switzerland, France, Ukraine, Greece as well as in the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion.
The former Olympiacos striker was to have joined Alaves in the Spanish La Liga in the summer transfer window, but the paper work for the move failed to beat the deadline.
Tianjin Teda sensationally replaced Ideye with a new striker during the transfer window in China and the Nigeria striker was demoted to the second team.
He said his demotion was as a result of a misunderstanding with his club over getting his family to join him on holidays in China.
“They said I was not happy at the club and will not be able to concentrate because my family cannot join me in China,” he recounted.
