FRSC Launches Secondary School Club

The Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC Jos by pass command has launched it Secondary School club.
The Commander of the Unit, Assistant Corp Commander Adebayo Jimba said the club aimed at catching them young was in line with the core mandate of the FRSC, Public enlightenment and education at all levels of the community.
Jimba said the project would go a long way in informing and educating the young children at the secondary school level with all the road signs.
The Principal Army Salvation school Kunden Alhasan explained that the school key in to the program because it would go a long way in sensitising the youths on the usage of road signs.
The chairman of the club, an SS2 Student, Adewumi Salami stated that plans are on to initiate programmes of activities that the club intent to carry out to the students.
Many Nigerians are not knowledgeable with the road signs and other associated road activities, therefore, it is hoped that schools at all levels would key into the project introduced by FRSC, for students to have proper knowledge of the road.
The Catch them Young program, initiated by the Federal Road Safety Corp is part of the corporate social responsibility of the Corp as directed by the Corp Marshal, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi.
