Former Vice President and Presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar says Nigeria needs credible leaders that will focus on national unity and peaceful cohesion towards economic rebirth.

According to him, Nigeria’s problem largely borders on lack of political will to initiate decisive policies towards restoration of lost values that would inject new life in all facets of the nation’s endowments.

He called on the PDP delegates to vote credible candidates whose antecedents centred on the unity of the country.

The Former Vice president noted that PDP remains the only party that has all it takes to salvage the nation from economic doldrums irrespective of its past mistakes.

Alhaji Abubakar promised to support any
candidate who emerges through credible and transparent primaries for the sake of the party.

Director General Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organization and Former Governor of Ogun State Otunba Gbenga Daniel said he has no doubt that Nigeria would witness uncommon transformation and economic growth if Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is elected president.

Nasarawa State Chairman Peoples Democratic Party Mr Francis Orogu who described Atiku Abubakar as one of the strong pillars of PDP who have the interests of the country at heart said delegates from the state would be guided by the unity and future of Nigeria.

Among the delegation during the visit to Nasarawa State was Former Minister of Niger Delta Elder Godsday Erubebe.
