Former Information Minister Cautions Women Against Electoral Malpractices

Former Minister of Information and a governorship Aspirant on the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA in Nasarawa state, Mr Labaran Maku has challenged women to spearhead the campaign against vote buying as the twenty nineteen elections draw nearer.

Mr Maku made the call at the twenty- eighteen Annual Catholic Women Diocesan Seminar in Agyaragu Obi local Government Area of Nasarawa state

He said women have the numerical strength to changed things around for better urging them to resist any attempt by politicians to use them to perpetrate electoral malpractice.

Vice President Catholic Women Organisation, Catholic Diocese of Lafia Nasarawa state, Mrs Gloria Nneke called for intensive campaigns against vote buying and other inducement during elections.

Mrs Nneke enjoined women to be advocates of peaceful coexistence at all times.
