FOOTBALL: 24 Financial Institutions To Compete For CBN’s Top Prize
The 32nd Edition of the All Financial Institutions Football Competition by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), kicks-off today.
According to a statement made available to KFM Online in Abuja, by the Director Corporate Communications, CBN, Mr. Isaac Okorafor, the competition is in collaboration with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The statement reads;
“The competition with 24 teams jostling for the star prize of Two Million Naira Will have its Preliminary matches played in four zones:
Abakaliki, Ado-Ekiti, Asaba and Lafia. The quarter final matches are billed
to hold at the same venues on Saturday, October 13, 2018, while the
semi-finals have been scheduled for Ilorin on October 16, 2018.
“The finals of the competition will be decided at the Adamasingba Stadium,
Ibadan, Oyo State, on October 20, 2018.
“The competition serves as a platform for the promotion of unity, harmony
and peaceful co-existence among key players in Nigeria’s financial
