FCT Administration Assures Completion Of Muslim Pilgrims Office In Abuja
The FCT Administration has given assurance that the N640 million abandoned office complex of the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board would soon be completed.
The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu, gave the assurance during an assessment tour of the project in Abuja.
Dr Aliyu lamented that the 5 storey building located at Kaura district of Abuja was only about 20 percent completion since its commencement in 2015.
Dr Aliyu promised the Administration’s readiness to make funds available to enable the contractors carry on with the work.
The minister further assured that the administration would ensure that genuine contractors are paid based on the level of work done.
Also speaking,Management of the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (MPWB) call for the early completion of its permanent office complex project .
Mallam Danmallam urged the contractor to increase the tempo and ensure early completion of the project to actualise the commitment of the administration in the provision of befitting working environment for its staff to carry out their official assignments.
Earlier in his remarks, the contractor handling the project, told the minister that the project would be completed in 20 months time.
Mr Nnadi who thanked the minister for the ‘Political Will’ demonstrated so far, reiterated the commitment of his firm to deliver quality job comparable to international standard.
