Nigeria forward Samuel Chukwueze bagged his third Europa League assist of the 2020/21 campaign and fourth overall in 18 appearances as Villarreal completed the double over Dinamo Zagreb, winning 2-1 to qualify for the semi-final of the competition 3-1 on aggregate.
The Super Eagles star who made his 13th start in the competition provided the assist for Paco Alcacer in the 36th minutes to put Villarreal ahead before Gerard Moreno doubled the advantage seven minutes later as the Yellow Submarine led 2-0 going into the interval.
The visitors pulled a goal back in the 74 minute through Osic but it was too little, too late as the Spanish side set up a semi-final clash against Arsenal, the former club of their coach, Unai Emery.
