CJN: Onnoghen’s Trial Resumes Feb 4 – CCT

The Code of Conduct Tribunal has fixed February 4 to resume the trial of the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Walter Onnoghen on alleged non declaration of Assets.
This is Following the ruling of the court of appeal refusing Justice Onnoghen’s application to stay proceedings in his trial at the tribunal.

This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday by tribunal’s head of press and public relations Ibraheem Al-Hassan.
The suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria is being prosecuted by the federal government for failure to declare some of his bank accounts containing foreign currencies.
