Christians Advised To Promote Good Governance

The Deputy Speaker Kaduna State House Of Assembly Rt Hon Nuhu Goro Shadelafiya, wants Christians to stop complaining about government but rather take meaningful steps in ensuring good governance.
Hon Shadelafiya, stated this during the commissioning and decoration of some members of the missions for Africa Chaplaincy Corps in Jos.
He said with holiness, faithfulness and fervent prayers from christians God will turn the challenges confronting the nation.
The Deputy Speaker who who was one of the decorated executive major General of MAC -corps Nigeria, appreciated the chaplaincy for vesting such honour on him and promised to use his office to foster unity peace and good governance in the state.
The secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) ,North central and the senior Pastor Shekina Global Gospel ministries jos, Rev Danjuma Byang, who spoke on behalf of the newly decorated chaplains vowed to use the opportunity to carry out God’s work in order to enhance the quality of life for the less privileged in the society.
While commissioning the new chaplains, the African commandant General mission for Africa Chaplaincy, Gen. Livingstone Abek urged the new chaplains to conduct themselves accord to the teachings of the Bible in oder to attract people to the kingdom of God.
Also commissioned and decorated were the secretary of( CAN) North Central Zone Rev Danjuma Byang and Pastor Ganiat Okorie of the Kings worship Eagle Christian Assembly.
Highlights of the occasion was the decoration of the three new chaplains and presentations of doctorates degree certificates.
The Mission for Africa Chaplaincy (MAC) Corps came to Nigeria ten years ago to bridge the gap between the church and the society through its charity and missionary work.
