CHAN Eagles Begin Training Camp In Abuja Today

The home-based Super Eagles will begin a training camp in Abuja from today in continuation of their preparations for next month’s CHAN in Morocco.

They will be camped at the Bolton White Hotel in Abuja.

The CHAN Eagles topped the NPFL Invitational Tournament in Kano when they beat MFM FC 3-2 in the final.

The team are also due to train in Rabat for two weeks prior to the January 13 kick-off of the CHAN.

“They will train in Abuja, where the final 23-man squad will be picked before the team fly out to Morocco for the CHAN,” an official said.

The Eagles will begin their CHAN campaign on January 15 against Rwanda in Tangier.

Libya and Equatorial Guinea are the other teams in their first round group.
