CBN Open Tennis: Adegoke, Abdulmumini Cruise Into Second Round
2017 Male and Female CBN Senior Open Tennis Champions Abdulmumini Babalola and Sarah Adegoke have qualified for the second round of the 42nd Edition of the Championship currently going on at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Playing in their matches on tuesday, Abdulmumini Babalola defeated Ayoola Micheal 6-1, 6-3 to move into the Round of 32 while Sarah Adegoke thrashed Haruna Salamatu 6-1, 6-0 to book her ticket into the next round.

Speaking After their games, While Sarah Adegoke says she is in the competition to win this year’s title, on his part, Nigeria current number three, Babalola, expressed happiness to play in the first tennis tournament this year due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
‘Am very excited and also very happy, this is the first competition am playing this year all due to the pandemic. Although the match was very tough but am glad i won’.
The 42nd CBN Senior Open Tennis Championship which continues on Wednesday in both the Male and Female single’s and Double’s Category, will end on Saturday 14th Nov. 2020.
