Candidates Caution Jamb Officials
Candidates sitting for the 2018 UTME, wants the Joint admission and matriculations board, JAMB, to improve on their services this year to enable them have a stress-free examination.
Some of the candidates spoke with Our correspondent who visited some registration centres in Ilorin the kwara state capital.
Addressing journalists recently ahead of commencement of the 2018 UTME, Jamb registrar, Prof. Ishaq oloyede explained that arrangement had been concluded to conduct the examination for one point six million candidates who have successfully registered.
Consequent upon announcement by the board that candidates should visit their portal to print their schedule slips, most of them were seen trooping in and around registration centres in Ilorin to do the needful.

They however called on jamb to ensure provision of adequate computer systems and efficient internet service so that candidates would not have problems when writing the exam.
Some parents who also bared their minds, expressed diverse opinions on JAMB’s decision not to release results on daily basis in order to give room for thorough review through cctv cameras to avoid cancellation of results.
One million six hundred and sixty-two thousand, seven hundred and sixty-two candidates are expected to write this year’s UTME in six hundred and five centres across the thirty-six states of the federation and the fct.
