CAN Urges Nigeria Youths To Shun Drug Abuse, Political Thuggery, Militancy

Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Nasarawa State chapter has called on youths in the country to support initiatives by government at all levels to enhance development of the nation.

CAN Chairman in the state Bishop Joseph Masin made the call while addressing a cross section of youth wing of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria in Lafia.

He observed that youths remain the most vital segment in the society towards nation building hence the need for them to shun vices such as drug abuse, political thuggery, militancy and other acts detrimental to the progress and development of the society.

Bishop Masin commended the muslim Ummah and Nigerians for peaceful celebration of this year’s Eid-el- Kabir.

Chairman Youth Wing, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Nasarawa State, Pastor Peter James called on leaders at all levels to provide adequate opportunities for youths in the country to showcase their talents rather than using them to achieve selfish interests.

Pastor James stressed the need for tolerance and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians irrespective of religious and ethnic affiliations.
