Buhari Urges Governors To Fight Corruption At State Level

The President–elect,General Muhammadu Buhari, has called on governors to lead by example in tackling corruption at the state level in order to enhance national development.

Gen. Buhari stated this when members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akwa Ibom Chapter, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja

The presisent elect said the nation’s problems were not ethnic or religious, but corruption and tackling corruption is third on his agenda, after insecurity and unemployment.

He also admonished state governors and other public officials to practice whatever they preach.
