Association Of Physically Challenged Persons Solicits Support For Peace Corps Bill

Association of physically Challenged persons in Nasarawa State have appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to reconsider his decision on the Peace Corps of Nigeria Establishment Bill .

Chairman of the association in Lafia Local Government Area of the state Malam Haladu Abdullahi made the appeal  when he led members of the group on a courtesy visit to the state Commandant of Peace Corps of Nigeria! Bala Joshua in Lafia .

Malam Haladu Abdullahi observed that the Presidential assent to the bill would engage thousands of idle youths in the country to be involved in enhancing peace among the people and building a virile nation.

The Nasarawa state Commandant of Peace Corps of Nigeria Bala Joshua said persons with disabilities who are qualified also have a  chance to join the corps.

Mr. Joshua appealed to President Buhari to reconsider his stand on the bill in view of the positive impact the Peace of Nigeria would make on the Nigerian youths.
