Armed Forces Describe Trending Video Clips Against Military As Malicious And Misleading

The Armed Forces of Nigeria has described the Video clips against the military trending in the media as malicious and misleading.

This is contained in a statement by the Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Defence Headquarters, Major General John Enenche in Abuja.

The statement explains that the video clips are not related to the present military engagement of the Armed Forces towards the lockdown on Covid-19 but old clips of past incidents of 2012 and 2013.

It describes the action as calculated attempts to tarnish the professional integrity of the Armed Forces of Nigeria by some mischief makers.

The Armed Forces calls on the public to disregard those videos as it remains undaunted and would not be distracted by false news propagators.

The statement pledges the commitment of the Armed Forces to performing its constitutional roles of protecting the natiin’s territorial integrity and lives and property.
