Armed Forces Deploys 80 Medical Personnel, Adds 3 Isolation Centres

The Armed Forces of Nigeria says it has trained and deployed Eighty Medical Personnel and added three Isolation Centres for treatment and management of Covid-19 cases.

The Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Defence Headquarters, Major General John Enenche stated this a media briefing in Abuja.

Major General Enenche explained that as part of efforts to ensure effective operations, the Armed Forces had deployed Eighty Medical Personnel trained on effective management of cases to various centres to provide medical support.

General Enenche also stated that three additional medical facilities at the Nigerian Navy Hospitals in three states were ready for use

In another development, the coordinator who reiterated the commitment of the Military towards rooting out the terrorists elements in the North East, maintained that through the combined efforts of the land,air and maritime troops significant successes had been recorded

General Enenche also said troops of sector 2 operation Delta Safe arrested and killed some sea robbers in Bayelsa state.
He maintained the the Multi National joint Task Force were in good working relationship.
