All Progressives Congress APC Stakeholders in Nasarawa South Senatorial District of Nasarawa State have stressed the need for a closer working ties between Governor Abdullahi Sule and the Senator Representing the zone,Tanko Almakura to enhance unity and development of the state.
They made the call in a Communiqué at the end of an extraordinary meeting of APC critical stakeholders from Nasarawa Southern Senatorial District in Lafia.
Briefing news men, Chairman of the Communiqué Drafting Committee, Mr Mamnan Alakayi commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for completing projects started by the immediate past Government under the leadership of Senator Tanko Almakura hence the need for stronger synergy to pave the way for more development in the state.
“We rounded up a meeting under the leadership of the state deputy governor Emmanuel Akabe, I have a mandate of the party to address you on the resolutions reached,” Alakayi said.
The APC stakeholders also passed vote of confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari for initiating projects that are vital to the people of Nasarawa state especially the establishment of Police Mobile Training College, Nasarawa Eggon, Special Military Base in Doma and the Air Force Base in Lafia.
The APC stakeholders meeting which was at the instance of the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State Dr Emmanuel Akabe had in attendance elected and appointed Government officials from the five local government areas of Nasarawa South Senatorial District.
