APC Begins Screening Of 12 Gubernatorial Aspirants In Kwara State
The All Progressive Congress, APC in Kwara State has organised a media parley for all it’s gubernatorial aspirants.
Speaking at the event in Ilorin, the minister of Information and Culture Alhaji Lai Muhammed emphasised that there is no anointed candidate but expressed optimism that whoever emerged will be voted in as next governor by good people of Kwara State.
Alhaji Muhammed said that the media parley was organised for gubernatorial aspirants so that they can unveil their plans to move the state to the next level.
The minister assured the people of Kwara State that the APC led government would continue to embark on projects and policies that will have direct and positive impact on every Nigerian.
Earlier, the Kwara State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Bashir Bolarinwa pointed out that all the aspirants are qualified to be governor of the state but only one person will emerge.
Alhaji Bolarinwa said the media parley was to get the best based on merit as against the usual practice of imposition of candidate.
Twelve gubernatorial aspirants of the APC took part in the event which was attended by party stalwarts across the state.
