Anglican Primate Wants ASUU, FG Dispute Resolved
The Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican communion Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba wants the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU to reach an amicable resolution and end the prolong nationwide strike.
Speaking with newsmen at the end of this year’s Divine Commonwealth Conference in Abuja, Archbishop Ndukuba described the present decay of infrastructure and poor remuneration of university lecturers.
He appealed to the government to look into their plight and save the university system from total collapse
The Anglican Primate stressed the need for Nigerians not to allow the present challenges to affect their lives and positive contributions to national development.
Archbishop Henry Ndukuba, however, appealed to religious leaders not to relent in praying and educating their followers on the need for peace and unity of the country.
