Alex Iwobi will not feature in Everton’s opening Premier League game away to Crystal Palace
The 23-year-old completed a £40million move from his boyhood club Arsenal on deadline day

The Toffees did not complete the Super Eagles star’s signing on time and the full paperwork was received by the Premier League after the transfer window closed. But the Nigerian international will be available for selection against Watford at Goodison Park on Saturday, August 17.

Following Idrissa Gueye’s move to PSG, Iwobi could be handed the vacant jersey number 17, same shirt he wore for his boyhood club Arsenal when he broke into the first team.
The 23-year-old has made 100 appearances for the Gunners in the Premier League, scoring 11 goals.
