ADP Replaces Gubernatorial Candidate In Plateau
The Action Democratic Party in Plateau state has replaced its Gubernatorial candidate Pastor Margret Inusa with Rtd Brigadier General Jonathan Temlong.
A statement by the state publicity Secretary Danjuma Auta said the decision was borne out of the collective resolve by the party caucus after what he described as wide consultation and strategic realignment.
The statement noted that the party had zoned its governorship to the southern senatorial District for strategic reasons and called on people of the state to vote for the party in all elections come 2019.
It pointed out that the people of the state had resolved to return to the path of honour, peace and development hence the need to pick General Temlong , whose National Security credentials are unassailable as the man for the job who will put Plateau first.
General Temlong thanked the former candidate Pastor Margret Inusa for her magnanimity and sacrifice and promised to restore the dignity of Plateau state through his three point agenda which is anchored on Security and Sustainable peace , good Governance and Development.
