ADP Plateau State Governorship Candidate Pledges To Tackle Insecurity
The Plateau State gubernatorial candidate of the Action Democratic Party, ADP, Retired Brigadier General Jon Temlong, has pledged to tackle the insecurity confronting the state, if elected into office in the coming general election.
Retired. Brigadier General Temlong, stated this in an interview with radio Nigeria in Abuja.
The gubernatorial candidate who explained that the narrative of the state was ugly in terms of security promised to bring in his wealth of experience to bring a lasting peace and security to the state.
He noted that as a Retired General, vast with security experiences, Plateau situation has been worrisome to him, hence his quest for sustainable peace, good governance and development.
Retired Brig Gen Temlong who noted that the effectiveness of government was hinged on citizens happiness and contentment, promised to restore the state’s potentials for sustainable development
The gubernatorial candidate who also pledged to run an all inclusive government if voted into office stressed that he would be a governor for all irrespective of religious, tribe, class and other differences.
Retired Brig Gen Temlong therefore called on the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, to conduct a free, fair and credible election that will be acceptable to all.
