Abuja Int’l Airport To Re-open April 19 – FG [Audio]

The Federal government says the Abuja International Airport will be reopened to flight operations on April 19 as scheduled adding that work has reached advanced stage on the airport runway.

Speaking at an interactive session with Aviation stakeholders in Lagos, the Minister of State for  Aviation Hadi Sirika explained that the project would not be extended as all necessary arrangements were in place to complete the work as scheduled.

He denied the report that a committee had been set up for the extension of the runway reconstruction in Abuja.

Recall the federal government  on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 shut the Abuja International Airport for a period of 6 weeks for the reconstruction of its runway.
