4500 Officers To Assist In Hajj Rites

Saudi Arabia Authorities have deployed four thousand five hundred Scouts and Guides to assist pilgrims ahead of the commencement of Hajj rites.

According to information made available to Kapital FM in Holyland, the deployment was an initiative of Saudi Arabia Scouts Association in Mecca that was meant to assist pilgrims who may lose their way around the Holy sites.

 

The statement also said the Scouts and Guides would also conduct a survey in Mina and Arafat, the Holy sites in Makkah inorder to collect field information on the Hajj camps.

The statement further disclosed that they primarily identify major land marks to be toured by millions of pilgrims from around the world taking part in this year’s Hajj. READ:  Unfounded Rumours about 2018 Hajj

The commander of Hajj camps Dr Saleh Bin Raja who disclosed that the survey would be executed in three phases said the development was endorsed by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

Similarly a Saudi Arabia based Non Governmental Organisation under the aegis of Al-Hadiya Group has donated packs of sanitary kits to patients in two clinic set up for pilgrims by National Hajj Commission Of Nigeria in Mecca.

The leader of the group Salim Mabrouk Al-Gamadi while presenting the items said it is an honour and privilege to share the gift packs to Nigerian pilgrims.

Our correspondent Moshood Jimoh reports that up to fifty gift packs containing a selection of sanitary items including hand sanitizers, fans and face towels were distributed to the patients.
