28 Days To World Cup: Eagles To Meet Buhari

Super Eagles players are scheduled to pay President Muhammadu Buhari a visit at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja on May 29, before jetting out to England to play a friendly against the Three Lions on June 2.

After the Wembley friendly coach Gernot Rohr will announce his final list of 23 and then head to Austria to set up camp and then on June 11 the team is expected to land in Russia and prepare for their opening game of the 2018 World Cup against Croatia on June 16 at the Kaliningrad Stadium.

The national team will open training camp on May 22 in Uyo before a friendly against DR Congo in Port Harcourt on May 28. The match will mark the partnership between the Rivers State Government and La Liga giants Real Madrid to set up an academy in Port Harcourt. The Eagles will then face Czech Republic in a final test game on June 6 in Austria.
