All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA in Nasarawa State says it is yet to pick a running mate for the party’s governorship candidate Mr Labaran Maku for the twenty nineteen elections.
Director General Labaran Maku Campaign Organization, Doctor Nawani Aboki stated this at a news briefing in Lafia.
According to Doctor Aboki, APGA is confident of coming out victorious in the forthcoming election in the state considering its performance in the twenty fifteen elections.
Aboki called on all the electorates to vote for candidates of APGA in 2019 general elections because the other parties have failed the State.
He pointed out that Mr. Maku remains the preferred choice of the people of Nasarawa state in view of his passion and vision to transform the state on the path of economic growth and development.
The DG added that the party campaign organisation and other critical stakeholders of the party would soon meet to chose a running mate for Maku.
Doctor Aboki commiserated with the families of those who recently lost their lives in the gas explosion in Lafia and called on the state government to be proactive in preventing reoccurrence.
He also stressed the need for the state government to declare the scene of the gas explosion a memorial zone and raise a monument in the area as a mark of respect for those who died in the explosion.
