2015 Presidential Elections: How the Winner Emerged

The just concluded 2015 Presidential elections in Nigeria was a game changer for the political atmosphere in the country. It was certainly one filled with intense moments as the top 2 parties (All Progressives Congress, APC and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP) were in very close competition all through the results announcements. The final announcement by the INEC Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega came in the early hours of April 1, 2015. He pronounced the APC as the winner of the 2015 Presidential elections and General Muhammadu Buhari as the president-elect.
